Moving to Shopify Connector Pro from another connector, and back out.

Cutover from another connector

Stop the old connector's scheduled actions and remove its webhooks in Shopify.
Install this connector and connect the shop (setup guide) - do not register webhooks yet.
Import products: existing Odoo products are linked by SKU; nothing is created unless you allow it.
Setup tab > Link existing orders for the period you need (default 90 days). Shopify orders already in Odoo - same Shopify order name in the customer reference or origin, one match in the company - are linked to them and their lines, and nothing on them is changed. The result counts orders with no match and with several; leave "Import only newer orders afterwards" ticked so orders from before the cutover are never imported.
Register webhooks. New orders now arrive here.
Watch Jobs and the Health tab for a day.

Customers are linked as orders arrive (by Shopify customer, then by email when exactly one contact has it).

Rolling back

Pause: archive the shop (its jobs stop being picked up) or untick the scheduled actions under Settings > Technical > Scheduled Actions. Webhooks keep arriving and wait as events.
Stop for good: remove the webhook subscriptions in Shopify, then uninstall the modules. Orders, invoices, contacts and products stay; the connector's links, jobs and events are removed.
Unlink one record: retire its link (Operations > Links). The link stays as a tombstone so a late webhook does not bring it back.

Upgrades

Upgrade like any Odoo module (-u tv_shopify_connector,tv_shopify_stock). Each release is tested upgrading from 0.3.0 with data - shop, credentials, links, refunds, jobs - and by a full uninstall and reinstall (tools/upgrade18.sh).
